Bible Correspondence Course-We have a new Bible Correspondence Course.  It is from World Bible School.  David Greer is leading this effort and we appreciate the good effort he is giving.  If you have a friend or family member who may be reached for Christ through this ministry, give their name and address to David.

If you are new to the Ravenna Church of Christ and like to study the Bible.  If this the first time at our web site and would like to become a new Christian not what make that first move and sand David an e-mail.

e-mail David at  dave_max@sbcglobal.net

What can I expect during the worship service?

The goal of our worship assembly is to glorify God as we search the scriptures to find God's will for our lives.

One of the unique things about our worship is a cappella singing (we use only our voices in worship, Ephesians 5:29).  Singing is a very important part of collective worship.  We invite you to join with us as we praise God and encourage one another in song.

All of our services include a time of prayer and scripture reading.  As believers, we are confident that God hears our prayers and should be worshipped in prayer.  Just as we take time for speaking to God through the avenue of prayer, it is equally important to read from His Word and receive His answers to our prayers through the messages He left us in the Bible.  We look to His word to be the authority in all that we do.

Each first day of the week (Acts 20:7) we gather together to remember the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 11:24,25).  The Communion service is for believers wishing to remember the gift of God's Son and the willingness of Jesus to die for us.  The bread is representative of the body of Christ, and the fruit of the vine is representative of His blood that was given to cleanse us of our sins (1 Corinthians 10:16).

Because of the love that we have for God and His church and the blessings He has promised us through  giving, we give back to Him a portion of our earnings (2 Corinthians 9:6-8.  We do not expect visitors to give, although, we ask that you drop your visitor card in the collectio0n plate as it passes.

Dynamic relationships are developed between individuals that spend time together during out assemblies.  Our prayer is that you will form those relationships with us as we worship God.

Bible Classes

The Ravenna Church of Christ understands that great churches must be built on great Bible school programs.  We have Bible classes every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening for all ages, including cradle roll (for the infants) through adults.
